This Monaco Calibre 11 automatic chronograph is the original model, the world's first watch with a water-resistant square case. Revolutionary and an icon of the "King of Cool" Steve McQueen, this Calibre 11 edition continues to display the famous crown on the left; a way of showing that manual winding was no longer necessary.
The innovative design elements are all included: a blue dial with horizontal steel indexes, silver subdials for chronograph minutes and hours, data at 6 o'clock, and a red chronograph hand for a racing touch.
The final racing touch is provided by the incredibly stylish strap: black calfskin with a special finish inspired by the asphalt of the racetrack.
First seen on Steve McQueen's wrist in the classic racing film "Le Mans" in 1969, the Monaco is a timeless icon of revolutionary design.
